Daughter of a dragon diplomat and a wayward mermaid, Edie has always had twin passions for fire and water. The fact that she was born an air sign only blew wind into her sails and gave fuel to her flames. At age 29, old enough to know better and too young to care, she showed the snails and starfish how the light from distant planets danced with a phosphorescent fervor. Her body soon became ensconced in psychic seaweed, and she used the ocean's entrails to bind those flickering colors, spinning and twirling them into strange and beautiful patterns like an arachnid luminatrix. The fires of the west had lured her here, to the Emerald City, where she found herself comforted by the music of the waves against the earth, and surrounded by like-minded souls. For the next four years she danced as she always had, and the glittering orbs followed tirelessly, the flames illuminating her sparkle-clad body and those of her favorite conspirators.
